Qatar Foundation is one of the most effective foundations in the MENA region. QatarDebate sits within it as the region's leading debate institution.

The programme was brought to the Region and now runs as Kurdistan Debate, delivered across two rounds in 2025 and 2026. Local judges were trained and certified by QatarDebate.

Two students were sent to compete in the international debate hosted by QatarDebate in Qatar, where one was selected as 2nd best speaker in the Open Dialogue category.
